A Group Attuned to Environmental Issues
Sustainable development is an increasingly significant topic in the fields of urban planning and construction. City dwellers are calling for more initiatives to adapt public spaces and housing to climate-related challenges.
Greening, energy efficiency, urban biodiversity (flora and fauna), and air quality are all central themes in the conversation surrounding urban development. Attuned to these concerns, the Citygie Group draws upon these issues to innovate and foster a more sustainable city.

French-made
and sustainable
Innovative by nature, the Citygie Group designs and develops equipment and solutions for the agile city, contributing to a more sustainable public environment and living space.
To achieve this, the Citygie Group manages the entire industrial manufacturing process in-house, enabling it to offer high-quality, custom-made equipment. These products are crafted from robust, long-lasting materials sourced within a 50 km radius of its production sites in the Ain region.
Reducing Environmental Impact
Mindful of the environmental and climate challenges of our time, the Citygie Group innovates to reduce both its own environmental footprint and that of the users of its products.
Our group is the first precast concrete manufacturer to have adopted low-carbon concrete—based on CEM-III/A cement—across the board. We are also developing solutions at every level to reduce the water consumption of our sanitary facilities. Examples of initiatives we are undertaking in this area include remote-controlled floor washing systems for our units, the installation of motion-sensor taps, and the development of water-autonomous sanitary facilities.
Furthermore, prefabrication and off-site construction have a lower environmental impact than traditional construction methods. This is due to reduced material usage and shorter on-site construction times, which limit disturbances for the local community (such as noise, traffic, and waste).
